I can only hope to capture a glimpse of His glorious creation. I hope that my paintings will remind you of the beautiful and awsome places that exist in our world, and that you will find joy in having them around you. 

I once read in a book called House of Belief , that you should have nothing in your home that is not either meaningful or beautiful. Then your home would truely reflect you and become a "house of belief."

Carol Washburn spent six years as Senior Illustrator at IBM's Media Center in Atlanta, Georgia, before stepping out on her own as a fine artist. She loves to paint bright, vibrant scenes, and, although she is captivated by European scenes, is always exploring new subject matter.

Carol has been teaching art classes for children and adults for four years in the Atlanta area, and is currently the art teacher at Parkview Christian School, where she teaches art history.

When she isn't busy painting in her home studio, Carol's works can be found in various juried art shows around the Atlanta area and the East Coast.
